ACS LTF 16% 25ml is a modern fast-acting chondroprotector for horses, dogs and cats with pronounced antiarthritic, antiarthritic, antirheumatic and anti-inflammatory effects.
Veterinary medicinal product for injection in the form of a 16% solution of chondroitin sulfate, aimed at the regeneration of articular cartilage in horses and other farm animals, as well as in dogs and cats.
For intramuscular and subcutaneous administration.
Indications:
Non-infectious arthritis, arthrosis, osteoarthritis, periarthritis, osteoarthritis, spondyloarthrosis, ankylosing spondyloarthritis, spondylosis, arthrosis of the hip joint (coxarthrosis), osteochondrosis, hydrarthrosis, osteoarthritis, sinusitis, dermatitis, capsteumitis, osteoarthritis, discordantitis, tenonitis, osteochonditis bones of the third phalanx, osteomyelitis with angular deformity, calcification of intervertebral discs and other inflammatory, degenerative-dystrophic and post-traumatic lesions of the joints and spine; dysplasia of the hip joint in dogs and cats; wrist weakness syndrome in large breed dogs, ear ptosis in dogs, chondrodystrophy in aesthetic otoplasty; fibrous osteodystrophy in cats; osteoarticular pathologies: cracks, fractures; acute and traumatic injuries of the ligamentous-tendon apparatus.
Doses and method of administration:
Horses:
The drug is administered intramuscularly in a dose of 1 ml. per 100 kg. live weight of the animal with an interval of 1 to 4 days.<br />
The average number of injections is up to 10 injections.
If necessary, the course can be repeated as directed by a veterinarian.
Dogs and cats:
The drug is administered intramuscularly or subcutaneously in the following doses, taking into account the weight of the animal:
Up to 10 kg. – 1 ml, which is equivalent to 0.16 gr. chondroitin sulfate
10 to 30 kg. – 2 ml, which is equivalent to 0.32 gr. chondroitin sulfate
Over 30 kg. – 2.5 ml, which is equivalent to 0.4 g. chondroitin sulfate The
average number of injections is 10 injections.
The dosage of the drug and the duration of the course of treatment are determined by a specialist individually, depending on the specific features of the course of the disease and the degree of its severity.
Contraindications:
Not identified.
Possible increased individual sensitivity of the animal to the drug.
Side effects:
None.
Packaging: 5 ampoules x 5 ml.
Enough for one course of treatment for the animal.
