COMPOSITION: Contains Ammonium Chloride 5.4 mg/ml
ACTIONS: Ammonium chloride causes a transient dieresis (excessive urine production). When administered before exercise, diuresis results in a reduction in blood volume which may help reduce the incidence of exercise induced pulmonary haemhorrage (EIPH).
INDICATION: Reduction in blood volume results in a reduction in the exercise induced rise in pulmonary arterial pressure, pulmonary arterial wedge pressure and also capillary pressure. Elevated pulmonary pressures are implicated in causing EIPH, thereby reducing pulmonary pressure which may help reduce the incidence of EIPH.
FORM: Sterile for injection

DOSAGE & ADMINISTRATION: Adult horses: Administer 50ml by slow intravenous injection 4-5 hours before strenuous exercise.
PRESENTATION: 50 ml sterile glass bottle.
STORAGE: Store at below 25 C (air conditioning) and protect from light.
