Description and indications:
Poultry (broilers, replacement and breeder chicks):
It is indicated for the therapeutic treatment of enteric and respiratory infections caused by E. coli and other bacteria sensitive to florfenicol, in broilers, replacement and breeder chicks, in particular for :
• Colibacillary enteritis.
• Respiratory colibacillosis.
• Colisepticemia.
• Complications with E. coli of infectious diseases (coryza, CRD).
Pigs:
• Curative treatment of respiratory infections caused by Actinobacillus pleuroneumoniae, Pasteurella multocida and Streptococcus suis type 2.
• Actinobacillus pleuroneumoniae, Pasteurella multocida and Streptococcus suis type 2.
Route of Administration and dosage:
Oral use in drinking water.
Administer 20 mg of florfenicol / kg bw / day (equivalent to 1 ml of FENIVEEX ORAL SOLUTION per liter of drinking water / day), for 3 to 5 days.
<span>Pigs: 10 mg of Florfenicol / kg bw / day, in drinking water, for 5 days in a row. To treat pigs whose water consumption is 10% of their live weight, add 0.5 liters / 500 liters of drinking water directly to the drinking water tank and mix until a homogeneous solution is obtained, which corresponds to a concentration 100 mg of Florfenicol per liter of medicated drinking water.
FENIVEEX Withdrawal time:
MEAT: Poultry: 5 days., Pigs: 12 days.
Contraindications:
Do not administer in breeding or laying hens in the production of hatching eggs or for human consumption.
